One of those is Slay the Spire 2, which is currently an Early Access game on Steam. For now, the game has five characters to play with, each having their own unique abilities, starting relics, and conditions. But as you might have guessed, you will only have 1 unlocked, and will need to grind for the rest. Just start a run wth the required character, pause the game, and select give up. Doesn't matter if you get defeated, as it will still count as a run and you will unlock the character. Once you get a character, you’ll see the dedicated lore entry in the form of an Epoch card along with a little animation and artwork for that specific character.
