When you reach a main mission called “A Cause Worth Killing For” in The Outer Worlds 2, you will have to make a choice; use the intercom or attack the automechs. This is a key decision that will define how the rest of the mission and part of the story goes. Both options lead to the same story outcome but how you handle this situation depends entirely on your build, skills, and play style. Your objective is to access the facility’s control room, but the entrance is heavily guarded. Near the door, you’ll find an intercom terminal giving you two distinct paths forward: Use the Intercom to talk your way through the situation. Attack the Automechs and clear the area by force.
