The world of Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is filled with various tasks and quests that provide unique and rare items to players. These tasks start quite early on in the game and continue throughout the gameplay.

After the players arrive at the beach of the Horns of the South, the very first activity that they’ll come across is to prepare an offering for the All-Mother’s Shrine. The All-Mother is a religious figure in the dark world of Avalon, and it has a total of three shrines, all of which are located in the Horns of the South region.

If you make an offering to all three of them, you will get a unique item from each. However, if you don’t use or sell these items, you can also get the True All-Mother’s Amulet, which is the most useful of all and provides players with permanent 35 Max Health upon use.

If you are looking to collect offering materials for one or all of these shrines, this guide is for you.

First All-Mother’s Shrine Location

ow To Make An Offering To The First All-Mother's Shrine

To get to the first All-Mother Shrine in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, take one of the two paths down the hill and arrive at the beach. The Shrine is located on the southeastern beach of the Horns of the South Region. It is located near the Blood Lake.

Once you arrive at the shrine, you will find two peasants that you have to kill in order to move ahead. Upon executing them, you will get the Ragged Peasant’s armor set.

The twist here is that this All-Mother Shrine doesn’t list the items you need to collect for offering. Instead, you will have to look for a dead body in a camp right next to the ruins in which the shrine is located.

The letter is addressed to Aleous. The letter talks about a Rose, some Sage, and a Feather. These are the materials you need to collect in order to complete the offering.

Luckily, all three of these are quite easy to find, and you can get them in the surrounding areas.

Rose

You can get Roses from rose bushes in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. These bushes grow in plenty on the west side of the Ruined Market Square, which is located northeast of the Shadows of the Horn. Some are located by the walls on the outskirts of the Shadows of the Horns Keep. Some are found exactly behind the Red Priest merchant and under the stone arch of the One-Handed Skill statue.

Sage

This one is also quite easy to find. You can get your hands on Sage in crates, sacks, and chests. Sage also grows commonly in Avalon, and you can identify it from its purplish and feathery plume. The common locations to look for Sage are on the northwest and northeast sides of the All-Mother Shrine.

Feather

Players can get Feather from crops of Dead Bandits. Enemies wearing light armor also drop Feather when eliminated. It is also available for 16 Gold from Osbryht, the Blacksmith, who also sells wood.

After you have gathered at least one of the three materials, reach the All-Mother Shrine and make an offering.

As a reward, you will be given the first The All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet. It is quite a useful piece of equipment, as it grants full health revival if you are killed wearing it. This will break the amulet. Or. You can also sell it for 200 Gold. I don’t recommend the second option.

Before I move to the next All-Mother Shrine in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, it is important to mention that if you use or sell any of the All-Mother’s Mery Amulets, you will not be able to get the True All-Mother’s Amulet. It is the most powerful of all, as it grants a permanent 35 Max Health upon use.

Second All-Mother’s Shrine Location

How To Make An Offering To The Second All-Mother's Shrine

The second All-Mother Shrine is located on the northeast side of the Abandoned Village in the Horns of the South Region.

Getting here is quite simple. When you are at the keep, take the main road and start moving east. Once you reach the Ruined Market Square, move to the north and arrive at the Hunter’s Camp. Take the northeast direction and cross the Archspire, take the curved path around back north, and climb the hills. You will find the shrine in the center of the ruins.

Upon interacting with the shrine, a side quest, Best Friends Forever, will start. In order to know what materials you have to collect for the offering, players have to first complete the quest. It is quite easy, so there’s nothing time-consuming here.

How to Complete the Best Friends Forever Side Quest in Tainted Grail?

You will need a Shovel to complete this quest. The quest’s location is at the back side of the shrine. Players need to dig up Kendall’s Skull and present it to Berg, an NPC, fishing at the village near the keep.

You are given three options while interacting with him. To progress with the quest, pick the choice that mentions giving him Kendall’s Skull. This will complete the quest, and now you can head back to the shrine to interact with it.

Where to Get Second All-Mother’s Shrine Offerings

This time you will need to collect a Mandrake, a Raspberry, and Rosemary. Out of these, Mandrakes are brought and not found growing anywhere in Avalon. To find a Mandrake, go back to the beach where it all started (the Horns of the South). You need to get to the small island off the shore and speak to Ò Cuinn Cinnamonsage, and he will sell you 12 Mandrakes for 4 Gold each. You can also buy Rosemary from him, but it is a common find, so I don’t suggest spending Gold on it. Furthermore, you can get Rosemary growing in abundance next to cliffs, rocks, and outside homes.

Raspberries are also a common find. You can find plenty of them growing on the bushes in the northern region of the Horns of the South and outside homes at the Abandoned Village.

After gathering the required materials, head to the second All-Mother Shrine and make your offering. You will get the All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet. It grants you 100% health upon revival while wearing it. Just like the first one, it is also destroyed after being used.

Third All-Mother’s Shrine Location

How To Make An Offering To The Third All-Mother's Shrine

To reach the third All-Mother Shrine, take the main road on the eastern side of the Horns of the South. Keep going until you arrive at the point where the road divides in two. Take the eastern path again, and you will find another fork here. Take the northern path leading to the bridge and keep following it until you see an NPC named Broc. The ruins you are looking for are located on the northwestern side of the bridge.

Where to Get Third All-Mother’s Shrine Offerings

The offerings for the third All-Mother Shrine include Burdock Root, a Bone, and Monster’s Blood. All of these are quite common, and you don’t need Gold to get them.

The Burdock Root is commonly available and can be gathered from outside almost every house in the Horns of the South Region. To get the Bones, kill Undead skeletons. If you are having problems finding them, head to the Forgotten Cemetery.

Kill any type of monster enemy, and you will get Monster’s Blood. You will find plenty of Corpse Eaters, Drowners, Redcaps, and Grindylows.

Gather all the materials and offer them to the shrine. It will give you the third All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet, which is the final piece to get the True All-Mother’s Amulet.

How to Get the True All-Mother Amulet in Tainted Grail

The All-Mother’s Temple is located inside the Dál Riata village, which is located on the northeastern side of the Horns of the South Region.

You’ll need to progress in the Shadow of the Horns main quest to a certain point to enter the village. If you try to enter the village without progressing in the quest, it will alert the villagers, and you’ll have to fight them to leave the village. Regardless of the outcome of the fight, you will not be allowed to enter the village.

After you have access to the temple, a cutscene will be loaded. Enter the second room on your right side and interact with the shrine. Your three amulets will be converted into one, and you will then get the True All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet.

Although this is a very powerful amulet, it breaks when you use it. It gives you 100% health when you revive while wearing it and provides 35 Health permanently as well. The permanent health feature makes it quite useful, especially early on in the game.
