Dying Light The Beast has a massive open world filled with zombies and all kinds of monsters. To deal with them, you need the best tools and since the entire game is filled with hidden tools and weapons, there are plenty of powerful weapons to go around.
The Elite is one such weapon; it is a legendary pistol you can find in Castor Woods while exploring. The great thing about The Elite is that you can find it pretty early in the game. It has very high damage which makes you a powerful hunter right from the get go.
The Elite Legendary Pistol Location Dying Light The Beast
To find the Elite Legendary pistol in Dying Light The Beast, we will be heading to the military convoy train car on a bridge east of the Monastery. The golden pistol is inside the military convoy, waiting for you to pick it up.
If you found the Treasure Map B4 then you will already have the location of The Elite, but you can pick it up without the map as well.
There are three steps to getting this pistol:
- Get the key card
- Interact with the console and take the cable
- Power the locked door keypad and use the card to get it
The train car you see above in the image is the one with the keycard but the keycard is with the zombie that comes out of it. Take care of the zombie that’s wearing the military gear and pick up the card. If he doesn’t have it, look inside the train car itself.
Now go and interact with the nearby console to turn on the power and also take the cable next to the console.
Once you have both items (keycard and cable), head to the locked Train Car. You will need a lockpick to get inside. At this point there will be more zombies coming after you and is also a zombie inside the locked car.
Needless to say, there are enemies all over the place so prepare for a fight before you get to this area for the weapon. As you enter the locked Train Car you will see a power console on the wall to your left. Connect the cable you took to this console and the unpowered keypad will now be active.
Use the keycard to open the door and to your right, inside a case will be The Elite legendary pistol and some ammo.
