The city is full of crime but Officer Cordell is up to the task. However, he needs the right tools every now and then to keep up with the growing wave of violence and crime across the city. The tools in question are weapons you can unlock in The Precinct.
There are 10 weapons in the game and 8 of them require reaching a certain level. Meanwhile, two weapons including the Special Revolver and Stun Gun are unlocked by default.

The guns you unlock aren’t immediately available to you. To access your guns you need to head over to the Precinct.
How to Access Guns in the Precinct
Go to the Armory in The Precinct where you can change your equipment depending on what situation you’re in. The best thing to do is to change your weapons before you go out on the streets. But if there comes a point where you must change weapons in the middle of a mission or while patrolling, you can do that via the truck of your car (Shop).
How to Carry More Weapons
To unlock more equipment slots which then allow you to carry more weapons in The Precinct, you need to invest upgrade points into the combat skill tree. Specifically, unlock a skill called “Additional Holster.”
You can then carry more weapons in the game, allowing you to have more fire power in combat situations.
