Tiny Bookshop has got players addicted to its interesting storyline and a wide range of quests. It tests the cognitive skills of players with various cases across their journey of Mega Marche.
Out of all the cases, players are finding it hard to solve the Mascot Case. It’s not surprising as this is a tricky case to solve in Tiny Bookshop. Without know how to proceed and trigger the next steps, it is hard to progress in the Mascot Case.

How to Solve the Mascot Case in Tiny Bookshop

NOTE: Some players report that the Mascot Case progresses more reliably in Autumn, though it’s not officially confirmed as a strict requirement.
Upon your arrival at the Mega Marche, Fern mentions the murder of the Mascot. You will see a trash can at the bottom left of the screen; click it, and you will get the murder weapon, a knife.
Pin the quest to your investigation board. The board is unlocked when you visit Mega Marche and is automatically placed in your shop. Some players have mentioned that the case must be done in autumn.
Once you have pinned the Mascot Murder case to the board from the inventory, speak to Fern, who will tell you to check the CCTV footage to get clues from it.
After the knife, you have three more items to collect to complete the case. For this, you will have to speak with different NPCs. You will need some hit and trial for this as well. Travel around the town with the case and knife equipped and speak to any NPCs you can find.
After two to three conversations, one of the NPCs will tell you about the next item and useful information about the case. The best areas to visit for meeting new NPCs are the Fall Market, Fish Market, and Winter Market.
Solving the Mascot Murder case in Tiny Bookshop may take several days, as you will have to talk to numerous NPCs. At some point in time, you will be able to display the knife at your shop.
After you solve the Mascot case, you can purchase it then by checking the listing in the newspaper. While you are on the Mega Marche page, don’t forget to check your progress to know how soon you can unlock the Mega Marche achievement.
The most important aspect of the case is to display the knife in your shop. This is a step that most players miss so DO NOT forget to display the knife in the shop.
Lastly, if your stuck try visiting the markets on different days. NPC conversations can sometimes get delayed by other events in the game.
