Assassin’s Creed is no stranger to crossovers, but the series’ latest collaboration has raised more than a few eyebrows. The latest crossover sees Attack on Titan’s outfits and giant creatures showing up in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, leading to plenty of criticisms online.
More importantly, however, it appears Ubisoft has taken these criticisms to heart. The gaming giant now appears to be taking down videos mocking the crossover.

Among others on social media, LearningTheLaw posted a small video showcasing the Attack on Titan boss cutscene from Assassin’s Creed Shadows. To nobody’s surprise, this video quickly became the subject of much criticism, gaining popularity on Twitter.
According to Twitter, the video was originally posted on 26 November, and just one day later, it appears to have been removed. The link states that the media was disabled in response to a copyright strike, suggesting that Ubisoft itself interfered and took the video down.
“This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”
For those interested, footage showing this specific moment of the Attack on Titan crossover from Assassin’s Creed Shadows is still widely available online. Therefore, it is a bit surprising that Ubisoft would remove a gameplay video with a copyright strike.
In the comments, many Twitter users are still shocked at the sheer absurdity of this crossover. The fact that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the first entry of the IP set in Japan makes the over-the-top crossover all the worse.
