Ninja Gaiden Ragebound has a somewhat different way of providing costumes to players. Sometimes it wants you to complete certain levels, and at times players will have to collect certain things to unlock the costumes.
Both Kenji and Kumori, the two protagonists in the game, have a total of 4 costumes to unlock other than the one they are wearing. If you are looking to unlock all the costumes in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, continue reading this guide.
How to Unlock All Costumes for Kenji in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound?
Players can unlock four more costumes for Kenji, other than the one they are wearing by default.
The first one you can unlock is “Classic Ninja” and you have to finish the game in regular difficulty mode. Then there is Mugen Tenshin Ninja, which is very aesthetic, and to unlock that you have to complete mission 5-1. Please note that this mission is only available in hard mode, so you will have to unlock hard mode before attempting to get it.
Next up is The Penitent One, which requires players to collect 60 skulls in hard mode. This one is also very challenging. And the last one is the Golden Shadow. To unlock this costume, you have to finish the entire game with regular difficulty and get at least an S-rank or higher in each game.
| Costume | Unlock Requirement |
|---|---|
| Classic Ninja | Finish the game on normal difficulty. |
| Mugen Tenshin Ninja | Complete mission 5-1, which is only available in Hard mode. |
| The Penitent One | Collect 60 Crystal Skulls in Hard Mode. |
| Golden Shadow | Complete the game on Normal difficulty with S-ranks (or better) in each stage. |
How to Unlock All Costumes for Kumori in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound?
Just like Kenji, Kumori has 4 extra unlockable outfits in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound.
The first one you get after finishing the game in regular difficulty is the Black Spider Uniform. This one is my favorite as well. After you complete level 5-1 in hard mode, you can unlock Runaway Ninja. The Biker Style costume is available after you collect at least 60 skulls while playing Ninja Gaiden Ragebound in hard mode.
The last costume for Kumori is Golden Assassin. You can unlock it after completing the game in hard mode with an S-rank or better in each stage. Technically, Kumori’s last costume is more difficult to unlock, as you need to play the game in hard mode.
| Costume | Unlock Requirement |
|---|---|
| Black Spider Uniform | Finish the game on normal difficulty. |
| Runaway Ninja | Complete mission 5-1, which is only available in Hard mode. |
| Biker Style | Collect 60 Crystal Skulls in Hard Mode. |
| Golden Assassin | Complete the game on Hard difficulty with S-ranks (or better) in each stage. |
How to Unlock All Costumes in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound
Unlocking all costumes is a time-taking task and also requires a lot of patience. But the satisfaction you get after getting them all is unmatched.
Out of all the above-mentioned costumes, the Golden Assassin is the most difficult. You have to get an S-rank in every mission, and that too in the difficult mode. Players that fail to get an S-rank can use the following Talismans. But please keep in mind that they have some drawbacks as well.
| Talisman | Effect |
| No Rest for the Wicked | Death brings the bearer back to the beginning of the stage. Rank increased by 1. |
| Perilousness | Damage received is tripled. Rank is increased by 1. |
| Unworthy | Checkpoints do not recover health. Rank increased by 1. |
| Scarcity | Health orbs are removed from levels. Rank increased by 1. |
Keep one thing in mind: going for S++ rank doesn’t unlock any additional outfit. So, there is no point in spending extra time, but for your personal satisfaction, there is no stopping you.
