There is a ton of stuff for you to find in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and one of them is nests. They are very easy to find when you are exploring the world or doing quests but what exactly do you do with them? Is there is any use of nests in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2?
Well, yes there is!
While the game doesn’t explain how to use nests I will.
How to Get and Use Nests in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Whenever you come across a nest there will be a popup message at the top right corner of your screen saying, “You discovered Nest.”
If you don’t want to engage with the nest right away, you can come back at a later time and easily find it again because discovered nests are marked on your map.

Once you spot a nest, use a Bow or Crossbow or knock it down. Simply point and shoot at it. If you are very early on in the game and don’t have access to Bow or Crossbow, press C
to enter stealth mode and throw rocks (G
key) at nests. Aim slightly above the nest for better trajectory.
Sometimes, and these are rare occasions, nests will be low enough to interact with so simply jumping will work.
Surprisingly, nests contain items that you may not expect them to. They offer randomized items including:
Item | Average Value (Groschen) |
---|---|
Lockpicks | 12 |
Spectacles | 247.3 |
Tin Warlord’s Badge | 110 |
Eggs | 0.4 |
Sometimes you can also find bandages, currency, Merigold, and some crafting materials.
- Nests can be spotted in the woods, along roads and even in urban areas. And once you discover them, they’re marked on your map/compass.
- Mutt (Dog Companion): Notifies you of nearby nests as they bark.
- Physics: If nests tumble down, they can roll downhill, so monitor their landing place.
- Fighting in Cities: Do not use bows near guards as they will get aggressive.
