Plant Fiber is a common but essential crafting materials and even though it is easy to find, its locations depend on shifting desert landscape; meaning it might be spawn at the same location all the time. However, there are reliable methods to finding and farming Plant Fiber in Dune Awakening.
Where to Find Plant Fiber in Dune Awakening
Plant Fiber is found away from sand and usually on rocky grounds like mountains and cliffs. Look for Plant Fiber plants on rock formations near the edge of mountain and cliffs.
Approach a Plant Fiber bush and hit the prompted button to harvest it. Two particularly good early-game areas are:
- Southwest of the Alcyon wreck
- West of the Trials of Alq area: The southern outcrop near these spots is especially rich, with a cluster of bushes, a moisture-sealed cave, and a scavenger camp

How to Farm Plant Fiber in Dune Awakening
Plant fiber bushes grow back between thirty seconds and one minute after you harvest them. After you clear a patch, stand close by or gather a few other items, then swing back to see fresh sprouts. Setting your camp near a cluster of these bushes makes repeated collecting quick and painless.
You can sometimes find leftover plant fiber in scavenger camps or in the random loot inside storage crates, but that source shows up only now and then, so don’t count on it. For the steadiest haul, keep searching around the edges of rocky zones and along dirt or grassy spots.
Take advantage of the respawn timer to farm nonstop, and if you need extra fiber fast, trading with other players or buying it from a vendor also works.
