Assassin’s Creed Shadows has generously included various romance options to both of the main characters. Both Yasuke and Naoe have 4 romance stories spread throughout the game.

How to Romance Lady Oichi in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
Meeting Quest: An Education
It breaks our heart to say that romance between Lady Oichi and Yasuke doesn’t have the same happy vibes as with the other characters. This is mainly due to their differences in background and status. However, you can still get close and romance with Lady Oichi by making the right dialogue choices as Yasuke.
Here are all the romance dialogue choices that you need to make if you want to romance Lady Oichi while playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Lady Oichi Romance Dialogue Choices
- An Education: “Some company might be nice.”
- A Talk With a Lady: No romance dialogues in this quest.
- A Prayer for Omi: “I would spend my last night with you.”
- The Wheel Unmasked: No impact of your choice on romance with Lady Oichi.
- The Wheel Turns: “I miss your smile.”
- The Wheel Turns 2: “I am drawn to you.”
- The Wheel Turns 3: “You may have him.”
- The Wheel Turns 4: “Let’s enjoy the moment.”
An Education
The first quest, which features a romantic scene between Lady Oichi and Yasuke, is An Education. It brings back old memories of Yasuke’s training and the day when they both met for the first time. Select “Some company might be nice” to start flirting with Lady Oichi.
A Talk With a Lady
Although there is no romance dialogue option in this quest, it does provide Yasuke a chance to see Lady Oichi again and have a small conversation with her.
Another interesting thing about this quest is that Naoe suddenly pops out of nowhere to tease Yasuke about his love interest when the quest is about to end.
A Prayer for Omi
This quest lets Yasuke and Lady Oichi get closer by knowing more about each other during a boat trip.
Lady Oichi, at the end of the quest, asks Yasuke how he wishes to spend his last night, knowing that the castle will fall the next day. Reply with “I would spend my last night with you” to continue romancing Lady Oichi in the next quests.
The Wheel Unmasked
The Wheel Unmasked brings with it the biggest plot twist in the game. To start this quest, you have to complete all the quests in the Mourner section of the Shinbakufu Ring. The quest features a massive fight between Yasuke and Naoe and forces you to make a major decision.
The quest doesn’t have a romance dialogue, but you will have to make a choice to either attack Lady Oichi as Naoe or spare her as Yasuke.
Regardless of the decision you make, there is no difference on how the next quest plays. If you attack Lady Oichi as Naoe, her guard will save her from you and spare your life.
The Wheel Turns
It is a long quest and offers more than one chance to romance Lady Oichi. Start the quest by reading the letter you will have received at your Hideout after finishing The Wheel Unmasked quest. Now find Lady Oichi in Omi and invite her to Cat Island. When inviting her, select “I miss your smile.”
Once you are at Cat Island, follow Lady Oichi up to the hill. She is sad about meeting you for the last time. Select “I am drawn to you” to continue romancing her while discussing that no one around is worthy to marry her.
You are unable to find a cat for Lady Oichi on the island. You can offer her the loyal dog instead by picking the “You may have him” dialogue option to keep flirting with her.
Lady Oichi makes her way to water. Follow her to watch the sunset together and select “Let’s enjoy the moment” as the final romance dialogue option.
Important: The letter from Lady Oichi doesn’t appear at the Hideout due to a bug. It means that you can’t start the quest. You can complete the Requiem for Rokkaku quest, and it may trigger The Wheel Turns quest.
Along with Lady Oichi, Yasuke gets to romance Hori Hidemasa, Ibuki, and Rin as the story progresses in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
