One of the hardest bosses of Crimson Desert is Beloth, the Darksworn, found in the Hoenmark Ruins. This boss will one-shot any player who isn’t wearing the right armour, which is the Kuku Cold-Resistant Armor and the Frostcursed Plate Cloak. You will need to get your hands on these armour pieces if you want to have a chance against him. Follow this Crimson Desert guide to find out how you can defeat Beloth the Darksworn easily.

How to Get Kuku Cold-Resistant Armor in Crimson Desert?

Firstly, you will need to get your hands on these materials:

  • Enhanced Kuku Pot x1 (Crafted for x1 Abyss Cell and x1 Kuku Pot).
  • Frostcursed Plate Armor x1 (Found in the Mistshard Cave, in the far north region of Demeniss).
  • Power Core – Crown of Shadows x1 (Obtained from Abyss Creatures and Sealed in the Kuku Pot).
  • Core of Exaltation x1 (Obtained from the Sanctum of Exaltation Riddle and Sealed in the Kuku Pot).

Let’s take a look at how you can get these items.

Enhanced Kuku Pot

To get an Enhanced Kuku Pot, you must have a Kuku Pot (Iron Ore x5 & Timber x5) and Abyss Cell, which you can get at Grimnir, the Kuku Shop vendor.

Frostcursed Plate Armor

Head far north region of Demeniss, and once you are at the waterfall, use Stab (R1+Triangle) to enter. You will now be in a cave, with a Treasure Chest containing the armor you need for this recipe.

Power Core – Crown of Shadows

Make your way to the southwest of Hernand, which will take you to a snowy mountain in Everfrost. Smash open the owl statue with Force Palm (R3), and it will drop a random Power Core. After that, you can place that into the Kuku Pot with Axiom Force + Seal. If you get unlucky and don’t get the Crown of Shadows, then you will have to reload your save and try again.

Core of Exaltation

Core of Exaltation location in Crimson Desert.

To get the  Core of Exaltation, you will have to cleanse the sanctum at the Sanctum of Exaltation. Once you have done that,  look north at the blue dial on the sanctum device and use Blinding Flash to hit the blue crystal in the center. Hit the crystal, so it rotates counterclockwise. However, you will have to stop using Blinding Flash every time it hits stone, and only hit Blinding Flash as the dial goes to a crystal.

Once the full rotation is complete, the Core of Exaltation will drop from the top, which can be grabbed with Axiom Force and Sealed into the Kuku Pot.

Now, make your way to the Sanctum of Expiation. Here, you will find a stone doorway covered in vines. Use Blinding Flash to burn through the vines and enter inside. Take two rights to find a Treasure Chest.

How to Defeat Beating Beloth, the Darksworn?

How to defeat Beloth, the Darksworn in Crimson Desert?

The boss is pretty hard to defeat, so you will need to follow these tips:

  • Use Imbue Flame attacks like Flame Strike and those acquired from Abyss Gears
  • Use Turning Slash (R1+R2) to build Stun and damage
  • Use R1+R2 to activate a Finisher when Beloth’s Stun Meter is full. Trust me, this will slowly help you kill him.
  • Only attempt to parry when recovering Spirit with Focus (L3+R3). Upon doing so, , you’ll recover more Spirit for your attack pattern and gain some counterattacking opportunities.
  • Just roll left or right, as it will help you avoid Beloth’s attacks.
  • Stock up on Palmar Pills and Recovery Items.
