Secret endings in video games have been there from the start. Even the original Castlevania and Metroid games had secret or true endings that you had to unlock by doing specific tasks during a playthrough. The trend of secret endings continues till today, and PRAGMATA is the latest game to feature a secret or true ending. Here is how you can unlock the true ending on PRAGMATA.
Unlock PRAGMATA Secret Ending
You’ll have to perform specific tasks in PRAGMATA to unlock the true ending, and they are simple enough.
- Finish the main story.
- Start Unknown Signal
- Collect all (100%) items in every sector
- Defeat all Enhanced sector bosses
- Complete all Simulation Missions
- Beat the Enhanced final boss and finish Unknown Signal.
Once you have done all these tasks, the true ending cutscene will play. However, completing these tasks isn’t a straightforward affair, as you have to unlock Signal Simulation missions, and completing them will unlock the Hidden Chamber’s treasure room to get the Back Box mod.
Here is how you can complete each step to unlock the secret ending:
How to Start Unknown Signal?
As you complete the main story, the Unknown Signal mission will become available. Not only is completing this mission vital to unlock the true ending in PRAGMATA, but also vital to unlock The Right Man for the Job trophy/achievement.
As you start the mission, take the Tram to the Hidden Chamber. Here, Big Cabin will ask you to complete a series of simulations. However, these simulation missions have to be unlocked.
How to Unlock Simulation Missions in PRAGMATA?
To unlock simulations, you need to collect optional items in each sector and defeat the Enhanced sector bosses. This means 100% completion of each sector. As for the Enhanced Bosses, they are in the same place as the original bosses in the first four sectors.
For every Enhanced boss you defeat and each sector you complete, a Simulation mission will unlock in the Hidden Chamber.
Complete the Simulation missions. For each mission completion, you’ll get a reward from the Hidden Chamber’s treasure room, which includes:
- Lim Cannon (Weapon)
- Black Box (Mod)
- Obsidia (Hugh outfit)
- Black Neon (Diana outfit)
Unlock the True Ending
After completing all the simulation missions, equip the Black Box mod, and go to the end of the Central Port sector. Here you will find the Enhanced final boss. Once you defeat the final boss, a new cutscene will play, which is the true ending of PRAGMATA.
